Don Valley Wrestling Practices

Practices will be held during the wrestling season in the gym of George S. Henry Academy each Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The practices will begin at 3:30 p.m. and end at 5:00 p.m.
At times, the practices will be moved to the cafeteria. You will be notified about changes as they come up.

Continuing Practices Off-Season

During the off season, we would like all wrestlers to attend practices at the Toronto Wrestling Centre. The practices are held Monday to Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to noon.

The location is at 1 Danforth Ave. at Broadview and Danforth on the south-west corner in the Community Adult Learning Centre.

You must have a membership with the Ontario Amateur Wrestling Association to attend practices. To obtain a membership, follow this link. http://members.oawa.ca/register/index.php/individual  Select "Register as an Independent" and continue. You will need a credit card. The cost will be $65.00 for the remainder of the year.

To get to the Community Adult Learning Centre, take the Don Mills bus south to the subway station at Pape. Take the subway weat to Broadview. The Community Adult Learning Centre is on the south-west corner. You can follow a walkway from Danforth toward the building. You will pass some glass green houses. Enter at entrance number 6. There is a sign indicating "Education Centre". All wrestlers are required to have wrestling shoes at these practices. Change rooms and showers are available.
